It may not seem like much from the outside but Chamiço is an awesome restaurant. Recommended by locals, it's simple but low prices, big portions, and good food. The staff were really sweet and service was fast. Amazing Portuguese specialities!

Truly local. I went for dinner and only Portuguese families ate here. The staff speaks English and they were all friendly. The portion was HUGE. I must go for the bacalhau - meu favorito. Excellent taste. Nice white wine too. Overall, a cozy and lovely atmosphere.

Great authentic place to try the famous Porto Francesinha. I would really recommend coming here. The staff were lovely and the service was quick. The only down side was that the dishes lacked a bit of salt but the sauce was amazing.

Nice place with a really great, english speaking service that helped me with choosing the most traditional dish and everything! Food was delicious as well, got just a half portion but it was huge anyways.

I went in for an early lunch. I was seated immediately as it was not crowded at all. I had the hamburger special and it was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. It is a very nice restaurant.

Great atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful, good quality traditional Portuguese food. 15 minutes walk from the city center. We ordered half a portion of grilled cod. It was very fresh and delicious!! The bread was also very tasty!! ATTENTION: Half portion is enough for two hungry adults!!! A small but nice detail - near each table there is a shelf on which you can put your handbag, phone, etc. I highly recommend this place!

I recommend that when visiting this Chamico @ Rua da Constituicao ask for Jose. Excellent service that he has provided. If you are not in a hurry either for lunch or dinner ask Jose for Vitela a Moda da Casa. I must tell you that this plate is divine. There aren't sufficient words that describe the quality of this plate. Truly awesome

Nice place for even a Sunday evening you can get a table. Sea food is quite good but locals seems to be going for meat dishes. Interior is quite old but staff are pleasant. Bill for shrimps, crab, fries, olīves, beer and water 32€
